What's New For 2023?
Toyota has continued to roll out basically the same Highlander from year to year, so no major or significant changes are going to found in the 2023 edition. Last year's version barely saw any changes as well, with a new XSE trim with sportier equipment and styles added to the mix. With basically the same model rolling out year after year, we're expecting the Toyota Highlander to get a major overhaul in the coming years.
Performance and Technology
Though there are six trim levels to choose from, any version of the 2023 Toyota Highlander will be powered by a 3.5-liter V-6, producing 295 horsepower with 263 pound-feet of torque. You'll also have an option for all-wheel drive capabilities, while there's a separate hybrid version of the Highlander available as well.
The new 2023 Toyota Highlander features all the kinds of safety technology and other amenities you'll want in an everyday family vehicle. The fully loaded Toyota Safety Sense safety suite is standard, containing driver aids like forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams and more. You'll also have standard touchscreen commands, smartphone integration, an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot and more, with plenty of upgrades found in the higher trims of the 2023 Highlander.
