What’s New For 2023?

Nothing major changes with the 2023 Tacoma, without a major overhaul marking sweeping redesigns or styling updates. The only notable addition is an updated suspension system with new wheels for the Tacoma Trail Edition and TRD Pro trim, both of which you’ll want to consider if you’re shopping for a truck that will take you off the beaten path beyond the Baltimore metro area.

Performance and Technology

With its variety of cab styles and bed sizes, the new Tacoma is perfect for all sorts of Baltimore area travels, especially if you don’t require the top-end capabilities of larger trucks. The starting two trims start you off with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder, producing 159 horsepower with 180 pound-feet of torque, but we recommend the available 3.5-liter V-6, which hums along at 278 horsepower with 265 pound-feet of torque and is an option for those starting trims, but standard with every other edition. Dynamic 4×4 systems can be added as well.
